personality[Honest] and [down-to-earth] are Jem's best attributes. A bit of a [pushover] and [not being very good at planning ahead] are some of his less attractive traits. Jem is a simple man and all he wishes for is to get along with people and nature. Putting it nicely would be that he is rather [gentlemanly], always opening doors for others and speaking politely with a gentle smile. Someone who does not value himself and kind of dumb would be a harsher version.

While Jem does enjoy interacting with others very much and is always up for a good chat, he likes silent companionship as well. He gets [lonely easily] and tends to seek out the warmth of others (this is not meant to sound dirty), even if communication is optional.

A short time passed, and then ill news came with word of his grandparents living in a faraway land falling ill. Jem's parents would be returning to Jem's grandparents' side, but what would Jem do? Jem decided to stay and continue the salon, afterall, there were many regulars who would be disappointed if it were to suddenly close shop. And, he had gotten back in touch with his childhood sweetheart!

One day he received a pretty flyer in the letterbox. Its words were rather refreshingly written, however he was quite content with his life at the moment. Even if he did not have family, his childhood sweetheart had recently returned to the town! Jem had no intention of leaving anytime soon, so he simply tucked the flyer into a drawer (because it would be a pity to recycle the author's excited words). Not a day later, and he received word from his parents that they rather liked the weather over there. So they would be selling the salon at Jem's location and reopening it over there! He would always be welcome to continue to live with them, but what did Jem want? What would Jem like to do? Well, it turns out his childhood sweetheart was already engaged, and had only returned to have her wedding in her hometown! And moreover, she wanted to introduce her fiance to Jem! Rather distressed (and heartbroken), Jem was not sure what to do. Ah, I want to run away. But where would he go? Sitting at his desk at night, rummaging through documents, he rediscovered the flyer he had tucked away. Ah, I can go here!

"Hello! I would like to book a seat on the Panna Cotta..."*Due to having reduced resources, unfortunately Jem has had to reduce his services to just hairdressing, though he will still provide other beauty services to close friends!
