Wow, just... wow. The focous is well done. On whole this piece has such a beautiful and delicate feel to it n.n It gives me an almost surreal feeling, and yet the dreaming figure is so... powerfully bold and detailed. Well done.

Say, I've never formally told you how much I like this, have I?
Of course, everyone else has picked up on its hallucinogenic quality. (I'm proud of them. haha.) The #1 thing that struck me when I first saw this was that "this is the kind of art I want to make."
UNlike a lot of "hallucinogenic" work, however, this one is startling in its clarity (rather than the more stereotypical vaguary). And you've really made the best of it by throwing the background out of focus. It really forces us to see what you've seen.
I see more than just a vague impression too. I see recline, possibly even de cline, except that the upward diagonals give it a vaguely optimistic/pleasant feel. So it almost has that pensive sombre beauty of a classical nude. (It see the form tending more feminine than masculine - the curves are too lovely.) It's interesting too that the "head" is so large, giving the result a prominently cerebral emphasis.
Most of all, though, I just get lost in your detail, of the reflection and refraction within the ice itself. I did an ice storm piece myself way back when, but my source photography just didn't have this exactness within the ice that you've captured here.
Truly mesmerizing work, a knockout standout home run.

I like this shot, I don't suppose you purposly modeled that ice'icle, it looks almost like superman! Anyway, I really like the background, the blues with the clouds, and the little bit of sun... The refractions in the ice make it look even better... You are focused on the subject very well too... Nice shot, definantly deserved a +fav!

I thought it looked like a body grabbing hold to the branch as well. This is really astounding..I'm blown away. Ice storms are badass indeed.
