This is something I've been doing on and off for a few days. All Photoshop + Wacom. I think the shading on the axe could've been better, but I'm pretty happy with the rest.The background.. ergh. I always disappoint myself with backgrounds. But I guess the white backdrop works ok here
This is actually 50% the size at which I drew and coloured it, so it should be available for a print soon. I'm gonna try and make future drawings bigger like this.. since I've had quite a few requests to make stuff available on DA Prints, but was unable to because they weren't big enough.

It's awesome! I just like how it's all put together. An excellent piece which just oozes with your style while straying away from the usual "comic/funny" style you use (I'm not sure if that amde sense or not...) Anyway, I really like it!

Nice Face!
Bit of a clash of styles here. The face has a real artistic feel to it while everything else is more cartoonish. Your lighting is consistant and the skin tones are good.
If you want to experiment with your style a bit, I'd suggest some texture variation. Everything has the same texture from the eye to the axe handle.
Also imagine different lighting. Your pics all have white 'studio' type lighting. Let your lighting add to the theme a bit. Like this one could be dark and have red lighting from below. Maybe try painting a simple background first, white is really hard to read tones against.

That is hella shc-wicked man. Really I can't find fault in this drawing. Even the red spatter in the thought bubble looks damn good. Hell, I even like the way you drew his eyebrows hehe

... you should consider doing a whole series of "color" themes like this... thoughts of blue (sadness), green (envy/jealousy), and yellow (fear) would be a sweet set to put together...

really great looking and i can see your style in that even if it's different
- you should really work on your background, a good background doesn't make a good picture, but a bad one kills it
- your axe might need some variations...like in real wood, levels, colours and textures variation
- i would really like it more if the red (in the bubbles) didn't have this gradient.
