Thoughts about his design:

- Papyrus' age is really ambiguous, but I always imagined him being somewhere in his late teens or early twenties.

- I used to draw him being a stick-thin beanpole of a man, but after getting some feedback I realized that wouldn't really make sense given how hard he's training to be a member of the royal guard. Instead, the idea here is that his natural physique is skinny and lanky, but he's been able to bulk up a little with his training. Drawing somebody who's thin but still muscular was challenging, but I think I did okay.

- Darker hair than Sans, but still in the same ballpark. I tried making it a little lighter but it just didn't look right to me.

- He started growing his hair out after setting his heart on becoming a royal guard, trying to capture the image of a handsome medieval knight. I imagine he's also trying to grow facial hair too but hasn't been nearly as successful.

- Unlike Sans who mostly has them on his face and shoulders, he is generously freckled from head to toe.

- Smells like MTT-brand skin and hair products.

- Still young and awkward enough to need to take care of a pimple once in a while.

- Big jugging ears because despite his best efforts, he can't escape the fact that he's a massive dork.

- A really big, really crowded, really underbitten set of teeth, because, seriously, look at those things: You could kill a horse with those things.

- He's either really resilient to the cold or really good at pretending to be resilient to the cold. That, or he just moves around so much he doesn't even need to worry about it.

- I'm probably going to re-draw those boots next time I draw him, they ended up looking a little too Mettaton-y... admittedly, part of the reason I kept them that way was because of all the hard work I put into drawing them that I didn't want going to waste xP

- I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually a pair of tighty-whiteys he dyed blue and sewed beltloops onto.

- He is entirely to oblivious to the feminine/risque connotations associated with cropped and loose shirts, and only wears them to show off his magnificent body.

- Not gonna lie, I'd date him every way to Sunday if I could.
