One 22" beauty dish with a diffuser on. It was between 3 and 4 feet from Simon, pointing down at approximately 45 degrees.

very nice, im getting a set of elinchrom d lite 4 lights hopefully soon, and want to do some more experimenting, ive been using a friends setup with alienbee and hensel beauty dish but i just need more practice

i think im gonna get the hensel, i like how you can pop the diffuser right off and it still spreads evenly even with a nice pop,

Oh yeh. The hensel one is very very expensive. The one that I bought was MUCH cheaper and it works really well. I'll get a Hensel one one day. It'll match my lights

didnt really stop by choice, had access to a full studio and portable light kits while studying, but once the studying stopped, the access stopped. And haven't been able to save up enough to buy my own light set yet, but i'm hopeful this year ^_^
