Description
A few days back I got into a little art block about my Evoloons so I'd decided to challenge me with drawing my favourite starter Pokemon.It was very interesting to find out how tall they are in comparison to each other.
I only used the original colour palettes but decided to change their designs at some points to my liking.
I tried to get my inspiration for Bulbasaur by some herbivore Therapsid species. Honestly, I had the most fun drawing Bulbasaur, I never drew one because the design is quite hard to draw.
Actually, I am really astonished that I like so many plant starters?

These are so cute and well drawn, even Turtwig, my least favorite starter. And I'm glad Tepig is on here, it never gets enough love.

Yeah Tepig got just recently on my list. The first time I played the 5th Gen I chose it but disliked the middle stage a lot. But in a recent Nuzlocke I just fell in love with the evolution line.

I didn't play that Generation yet but I think it will go as with the 2nd Gen and I won't choose a specific Starter as favourite there.

Mudkip is my favorite Pokemon ever. Same goes with his evolutions. A well balanced Pokemon.

I can only agree here. I think it was the first starter I chose so often I can't even count it anymore. I played the Emerald Game a lot.
I guess it will always be one of my favs.

One of the reasons I liked original mudkip design is because he looked like an idiot. I mean it was the kind of face I would often make when talking to people. That appealed to me.
Your design retains the cutery but adds a bit of a threat factor.

You also seem to have an appreciation for amphibians. ^-^ (Bulbasaur's either a dino or a frog, turtle, water frog, two otters, and a piggy) I also appreciate bulbasaur myself, and I love the idea of turtwig, although not necessarily it's native design. For starters, I tend to favor fire and grass, myself. Your grouping looks fantastic

That's interesting actually. I normally just go with the design I like the most, in the last three Gens I also decided over the move pool of the final stages.

Mainly i love the water type design, and the advantages over rock and ground types most games have a gym for rock ground and fire, i wish there were more dark type starters to be honest always loved them if I could have started with houndour idve been a happy camper

I heard some troublesome problems about the gameplay and mostly the difficulty level.
