YOU MEET HIM HERE FIRST Reign: Prelude (Pt2)
Moonlight beamed upon the black, spiked city of Warfang, its pale light illuminating the streets. Every little shine or blemish in the walls and streets could be seen tonight. If something moved, it was immediately spotted. Yet, nothing moved tonight. The city was asleep outside of some lights. No one was allowed out two hours after nightfall.
Despite this, a shadow in flight danced along the rooftops. Ripped, large wings blotted out the moon, their silent beats propelling her faster and faster through the city. She was Cynder. She was the Skyterror.
Better yet, she was Queen of Warfang.
Yet, those thoughts could not ease her mind. Her youthful face, blemished by scars, was pursed in thought. Her sapphire eyes were focused on the castle overlooking the city, its dark, spiked visage being the closest thing to home. Using the element of Wind, she launched herself up and landed on a spire, leaping down to a balcony immediately afterward.
“You are back early, Queen Skyterror.”
