Yeah, I've been working on and off of this thing for about four months now, and I am very happy with it. This comic is based off of one of my favorite scenes from my KFP fic 'Obsidian Blade'
You viewers will probably recognize Jia and Shì xiě from my fic.
Yes there are some minor differences in this comic compared to my actual fic, but I felt the changes necessary since I can't put EVERY detail into the comic. But I think it still gives the same message.

So basically what is going on here; Shifu has a very intense dream, and Jia is trying to get him to wake up. Once he does, he realizes that he is being ambushed! I won't go into all of the details in case any of you haven't read my fic, but you get the idea that Shifu kicks some serious tail in this part of my story!

Well, I love the way you draw Shifu, so I was just thinking maybe a scene from Origins with him. Doesn't have to be long or anything. I have some other stuff I need to finish first, but I wouldn't mind drawing you something in exchange (I don't know if I have the patience to do a full comic. )

Eh, I'll let you pick the scene. That way you can decide if you want an action or dialogue scene and how long you want it to be. Besides, I'm curious to see what you'd pick.

Honestly, I've barely read any KFP fanfiction. Either because I'm afraid of "accidently" incorporating others' ideas into my own stories, or because about 90% of them have some form or another of TiPo. Which I am no fan of. But I might have read some of yours a while back if I remember....

.... This. Is. AMAZING! Please pardon my overdose of smiles but I had to recover from my overexposure to awesomeness. There is so much talent and thought into this, from the changes of scenery detailed and constant in the background. It's like looking at a screen board of a movie and I love the sequence and action in the panels! You draw Shifu with incredible skill and Jia is beautiful. That dark thing that makes her vanish! So cool! Especially, the one where she has been hit - the ghost of her fading - there is real horror in it. I love this so much and couldn't give a sufficient enough comment. You really bring out Shifu's awesomeness. The fighting style, the flip with the staff catch. There is so much excitement in this comic. Thank you for sharing it in one dose instead of chopping it up.
