<- Starter seen here, one on right.Finally got the starters done with so I can move on to something else .__.;; More no sugimori style.
Ejutsu's Pokedex:
Males EJUSTU care for the young rather than females. They can be extremely agressive to unfamiliar Pokemon and humans.
He's based loosely on an emu but still has the casque of a cassowary. I enjoy his design (though his legs are a bit wonky on the sketch, if this was a sugimori piece I would have fix that).
Katotrich's Pokemon:
One of the best kickers in the Pokemon world, only surpassed by HITMONLEE. Its skull is protected by a helmet like casque.
Definitely my favorite final stage of all of my alt. type triangle starters. He looks totally badass, which is a near impossible thing to do with such a funny animal such as the Ostrich.

Although they look like emus there is also a slight resemblance to a turkey, glad it's a great fighter cause it's almost Thanksgiving.

technically yes but its really discouraged (since the point of the contest is to have starters that AREN'T water, fire or grass types).

If this guy were part Flying-type too, I'd bag it in a nanosecond. And following ~Imako-kun 's thread I might even name him Rock Lee for the lolz/lulz
. . . but ~Key2Immortality does have a point. Katotrich has the most dangerous-looking feet of any bird around. I prefer my ass to stay where it is, thanks - and I certainly don't want it to get kicked off by a friggin' cassowary, the world's most dangerous bird!

If I had a trio of non-conventional starters, I'd make them Flying, Electric, and Ground, with the abilities as "Stratosphere" (Flying), "Megawatt" (Electric), and "Earthmover" (Ground). Hey, don't blame me, but it's the only thing that makes sense.
