Hit and miss season. Lots of really good episodes but lots of really bad ones too. After the That Sinking Feeling review this'll be the last Spongebob related thing I'll be doing for a while.Related content

Also was the ending of Gone REALLY that bad? It isn't like a cartoon hasn't been cruel/mean-spirited before. And even if it was I would say moving it to terrible is just a wee-bit too harsh, maybe meh since it would be a mixed bag after then. But it's your choice, I'm just confused by that particular choice.

The ending kills the experience really badly for me. Maybe I'm overexaggerating, but when I rewatch the episode I notice a lot of details that make the ending even worse for wear and I just can't enjoy the episode entirely, despite how well structured the first 9 minutes are.

IMO: Plankton's Regular wasn't that bad (what made it awful by the way?)
Suction Cup Symphony was decent but not amazing
Cephalopod Lodge/Pet or Pests would be at terribleΒ
Gone's great (I'm literally the only person who wasn't bothered by the ending)
I didn't like No Nose Knows for personal reasons
Pineapple Fever was meh
other than that nothing too major

I hate Plankton's Regular because this show strives to make any character with an IQ about poop extremely miserable. It's a sickening pattern that taints everything it touches, and this one is no different. They still try to establish Plankton as the undeserving bad guy but the problem is Mr. Krabs is the ACTUAL bad guy. The ending capped it off for me, though. Without that ending the episode would of probably risen a few ranks.

I liked the role revesal in the episode, with Krabs stealing Plankton's formula.
I actually could relate to the ending, as I've had foods I used to love but then suddenly I hated them and I wouldn't eat them.

Shuffleboarding and Krabby Kronicle.

Agree with you on Toy Store of Doom and Patty Caper. Also, I know you're not doing anything SpongeBob (for a while), but are there any abominations season 8?
