I like the contrast of the black and white with the red. It makes the piece seem cold and warm at the same time. It's actually quite beautiful. You can feel a story somewhere in there. Good job.

the idea is very good, but.. you still have to work on that red rose color.. if you can take a closer look you will see some not perfect selection of the red rose

oh wow, just wow! It seems like something I would have seen a hundred times before, but I absolutely love the symbolism of a blood-red rose on top of the gun. It's one of the few color-edited pictures that I really love for its meaning. I feel that the gray of the composition surrounding the rose is representative of the dreary and costly nature of underground operations. Wonderful clarity, a great capture, definitely worthy of
