Description This is an acrylic painting I did several years ago.

I enjoy the tonal work in the face (definitely a challenge considering the medium chosen), as well as the use of a limited palette.

Portraits are simply fun .

A friendly death...with a bit of sorrow and cruelty. I really love the face and the cold colours you've chosen.

I've been doing some searching around to familiarize myself with various looks of acrylic paintings and I really had to stop and just stare at this piece. The softness of her face is beautiful and I like her icy grey eyes. Lovely work..
