Dear Suzie... I'm glad this artwork hold your attention, this is the first painting I made in which I invested substantial time and efforts and I was really proud of. Wonderful comment, inspiring and so poetical indeed, yes I know your are a poet now, I already had strong hints of this from what I read of you, especially in your previous comments, and since what I saw of your art is so delightfully full of poetry...

You are used to make verses? You call it silly lol... That's awesome, lovely (I read lot of poetry, at some time, and learnt many poems)... Another facet of your multi-card (can say that in English? in French yes, means diversified) talent, stained glass, needlework, painting, poetry, friendliness, fun etc... a perfect, accomplished gentlewoman... hat off

I do love things of the past too... All the poets that I like the most were 1800's, the fashion was amazing also indeed, as well as fine arts, music... I like the 18th century's ones too... In those times there was a refinement, a humanity that tend to disappear, more and more I find now (maybe be it has to do with industrialization or what, I don't know - handmade becomes rare for sure -, although there are still nice and evolved things today of course, I'm not that backward-looking..), well, all these things speak and sing to my nostalgic soul

The gowns yes, all these fabulous gowns, they knew how to dress in those times... Women look dressed with potato sacks now in comparison lol
... To the core lol yes or you could say to the HEART, this heart you have so big and the greatness of which is so visible to everyone, no doubt you should be sentimental that's so evident lol...
