personally it reminds me a lot more of Jim Lee's touch...and as far as your gallery goes I'd say you tend to like John Byrne's, Marc Silvestri's and Jim Lee's earlier work....isn't that so

Quite right. Particularly Jim Lee's earlier work prior to his run on the second X-Men title when he was doing Uncanny X-Men.

You know, you're possibly the first that I've talked to who actually acknowledges the difference. Having studied his work intensely since I first laid eyes on it, I couldn't help but notice. I still enjoy his work today. But I'll always refer to his run on Uncanny as my favorite!
