Another non-cosplay thing for now. I made some progress on Anne, not quite in the mood to work on more today though.I am not sure how to make him jump without touching the bars, his stand doesn't make him high enough. For now it is passable at least I think. This guy's stuff worked out better than Totilas I think, the leather was thinner and thus more easy to work with. I also improved my terrible stirrup design. I have yet to make real buckles that are tiny enough for the bridle/boots that are actually removable. The ones on this model don't come off, but at least the saddle is removable and would fit any small traditional or large classic.
My critique request is about the tack itself, please ignore the bad quality photos. I am no photographer and I'm well aware of that haha. I have a premium thanks to Mikey so I best take advantage of it more often!
Things to be fixed: cinch moved further up, bridle straightened out.
For future projects: smaller saddle.

The only thing that really stands out to me about the tack is the cinch, it's way too far back. It needs to be one or two millimeters from the front legs. It's really well made compared to some others you see out there, I like the shape of it too. The bridal has a bit of a crease or fold in it on this side, and that wouldn't stand in a live show. If you could get the cinch in the right place I think that the tack would look a lot better. Maybe if the saddle was a little smaller it would sit better. Thank you so much for taking the time to write! I appreciate the input; I am not a rider and have no tack lying around to reference so it is nice to get feedback on my stuff. I don't live show/don't plan to (could never make stuff like those people do, those tiny saddles just blow my mind!) I will fix the cinch and bridle, can't do anything about the saddle but I agree it is a bit big for a jumping one.

Yeah, it really is just mind blowing to me, I want to try some classic scale stuff but the traditional stuff is already so tiny and I think I already have a scaling problem with the pieces so I might want to work on that first ahah.

For help with the stand, I would suggest getting an acrylic base, can find them on ebay reasonably priced.

I know there are some that should be tall enough to work. You can always measure and find someone that makes them and get a custom order in.

Yep. I didn't know it either for a long time. I had a custom SM one for the jumper. Sadly my cats broke it at some point. Lol I'll get another one again though.
