It is actually kinda complex for how simple I should have made it XD! Each petal is made out of two pieces of fun foam covered with this pleather-like material which I glued together at the center. I then covered those with model magic to make the rim, and of course added the hemp string to tie everything together. The wayfinder is painted with acrylics, but the hemp was painted with brown fabric paint. The center bit was cut out of fun foam and painted

Oh wow, that's quite a lot but yes it turned out great!
My sis tried using model magic for her Vanille necklace, but it crumbled - is there a way for the model magic not to break apart D:

Hmm...that is odd, I have only ever had a "cracking" problem when the model magic got wet. Did she use water to smooth it down at all? Sometimes that water will cause that to happen if you add too much. The other time I saw this is when I was in Arizona and the climate was super arid (which makes NO sense because humidity would cause cracking, not dryness lol!!!) Given MD's climate, I doubt it had to do with that. I hope she can try it again with future projects
