Description I swear, this is the last Psychonauts fanart I'll upload for now ~_~;

Already did a fanart showing the "sweet" side of Den Mother, so now we get to see her dark side...and I do mean dark side.

To explain this somewhat, half-way thru the boss-battle with her, she shuts the lights off and all you can see are her eyes. You have to use Clairvoyance on her god's eye and then you are able to see thru her eyes and control Raz from that perspective. It took some getting used to...

AWESOME! I love how you did her hands. :3 AGH DEN MOTHER WAS SO COOL. You had a hard time with her fight? I got it pretty easily, surprisingly.

Oh, wow. There's like, NO Den Mom fanart on DA. Which is so weird, for she is awesome. But that doesn't really matter, because when you get such freakishly good pictures like this, who needs a million mediocre ones? The shading and colouring is beautiful. Did you use Photoshop for this?

Very cool style you have developed. Like it a lot, even though I have no idea what a psychonaut is.

what exactly is psychonauts? I mean, I know it's a game but what platform do you play it on and what do you do in it? Your artwork always makes it looks so interesting

Cuz I'm lazy XD [link]
Its for the XBOX, PS2, and PC.

It really is one of those hidden gems in video games because it really wasn't advertised as much as it could've and should've been because the studio that released it was very very new. And my art for it is so interesting because the game itself is just that XD

They just placed the game on Game Tap recently so give it a try! :3

You're welcome! :3

Yeah, the game is hard to find now because they only made a certain amount of copies of the game and they won't be making anymore
You can buy it from the company store [link]
Or, buy an inexpensive used copy off amazon.com

thanks *_* - (runs to find mom's credit card) lol

you met him?! aww I wish he would come to some cons on the west coast- Vic Migoniga was at sakura-con this year so i got to see him. of course it seems like everybody's met him. but he's a really wonderful guy too.
it would be so fun to be a voice actor but it'd be really hard.

No prob!

Yeah, I met him at Anime Boston last year. He rarely comes to the East Coast, since he lives and works in LA. He's coming to Otakon this year so I'm really excited about that ^^ He's going to AX this year (think he goes every year since he's kinda right there XD)
I've met Vic a couple times. Nice guy but its kinda ridiculous how many cons he goes to so I get sick of seeing him :/
Gaaaah, being a voice actor is a dream job of mine. I've admired the profession for years. I think dubbing would be hard since you gotta time it right. Voicing for American cartoons is easier since you can do whatever you want since there's no pressure for timing. And you can do the wackier voices too

oh, well that explains it (i don't really go to cons in california...of course I've only been to 2 cons so far) I hope he does go to AX next year too then. My friends and I are going to try and go to a few more cons next year besides just kumori and sakuracon, one being AX. We actually wanted to go to one on the east coast (my cousins are moving over there so we could visit them and go to a con). Which east coast con do you think is the best/most fun?

wow- I've never even thought about the difficulty of timing I always just thought about how you have to be able to create a range of voices out of your 1 voice...and that you have to make sounds like you're being hit a lot haha.
well, I hope you're able to become one some day. that would be cool

(gah, devart deleted my first attempt at commenting to this so I'm sorry if it somehow magically reappears D: )

I don't see any reason why he wouldn't go to AX next year. Its probably like an hour or 2 drive for him XD I'm hoping to go to AX next year too~
Hmm....Otakon (Baltimore, Maryland) is the biggest con on the East Coast, but I personally wouldn't recommend it. The con center is spacious but the location is kinda sucky. If you don't have a room at the 2-3 hotels literally across from the con center, you got a lot of walking to do.
Katsucon (Virginia) has always been one of the best cons for me. The location the past 2 years has been awful (in a small hotel smack dab in Washington, DC [horrible horrible little city and its easy to get lost]) but they're changing it for next year. Its just a fun con to meet and hang with people.
Anime Boston has recently grown to be one of my favorites, too. I'm not sure if they're holding it in the same location as its been the past 2 years, but that location is awesome. The main hotel's connected to a mall which is connected to the con center- you don't have to leave at all! XD

So uh...yeah, either Katsucon (which is in the winter) or Anime Boston (spring) would be good.

As for voice acting, most actors say that the timing is easy once they got the hang of it (there's 3 beeps and on the 4th imaginary beep, they say the line). But still, if you say the line too fast or too slow, it can throw off everything.
Mimicking noises, people/characters, anything is the best kind of practice for getting a range. Even if you think you can't "do" a character voice, you probably can but never noticed it ^^

I hope to see you at AX next year then have you ever been to california before? or anywhere on the west coast? I've never been anywhere on the east coast...except in airports- well I guess florida counts too.
I think we probably will plan to go to katsucon or anime boston then. Thanks for your help though! how many people go to those cons? I heard AX is expecting more than 40,000. When I heard that, I think my brain exploded xD haha

yeah. it'd be cool if they had voice acting classes at school! we have lots of drama classes, but not any classes that specialize in only voice acting. it'd be so different-and fun~

I ordered Psychonauts today xD

Never been to the West Coast at all.
No prob! I'm really not good at estimating how many people go to a con..Otakon is usually 21,000 and Katsucon is probably half that and Boston is about the same.

WOO! I've been playing it the past couple days; been trying to find all these items and junk (you'll see that there's a LOT of stuff to collect if you want to level up). Here's hoping you love the game as much as I do! :3

ah, katsucon and boston sound like the equivalent to sakura-con then.

haha- I bet I will like it, since it looks crazy and different which is always a good thing haha.
I was looking at some of your ravving rabbids art in your gallery too. lol, my sister and I are trying to convice my dad to get us a wii. Nintendo has been making us very happy recently. and all their games seem hella fun! my sister doesn't even like games (or anime) but she says she actually wants a wii...which surprised me.
