Premiered this over the weekend at Katsucon 2011! Did a fun little shoot with my friend Christa/The_Wendy_Bird who took some GORGEOUS shots of this costume! I couldn't pick which one I wanted to upload here because they're so pretty ;___;

My wig is not 70ft long, but 48 inches. You can find the wig on ebay, under the name "Dark Caramel Long Straight wig". Very thin, just to warn ya! But it's the perfect Rap color.

I went with Claire Keane's concept art for this dress, so it's not the one you see in the movie exactly. The main difference, aside from the color palette, is the embroidery designs on the borders of the skirt. And yeah, I did hand-embroider all of that, including the center panel of the dress with the cornflower blue designs. Hey, if you were in a tower for 18 years, you'd embroider, too!

I drafted my own patterns for everything, so as usual I don't have a pattern to share or sell, sorry!
