Nice, I think this way of coloring improve your drawings. Dunno if it saves some time or it is the same thing or if it is more time consuming than the way you used to colorize before.
I'm still trying to find a way to colorize my drawings that will be fast and not look like crap, lol. I'm looking for some examples of cell shading mixed with soft shading to try this method and see if it can delivers a nice result.

I really enjoy seeing new boxing girls so I kept cell-shading which bring result faster for many years. But now I want to see girls with better quality so I begin to trying soft-shading on all my arts. Obviously it takes more time though...
Cell-shading is easier to draw and good to show the texture of muscles, also the control of colors. After using soft-shading my understanding of colors changes. Every time I saw nice doujin art I feel passionate to do so, and I decided to do so. No need to be that professional but the feeling from canvas is changing.
