EDIT 1 (7/30/2012):
Redid the shading on the hair, for a better and more natural look. I may decide to shade hair like this from now on.

This was a bit of a headache. From designing the wings and getting them right to deciding on a damned hair color to slap on this, I wound up spending about 10+ hours getting this right. Not to mention, I tried a new method of coloring hair. I'm not very sure it was the effect I was looking for, but it's a good start. :']

In the end, I chose to go with pink hair for a number of reasons.
-Green would make her look uncomfortably similar to Morrigan (Darkstalkers, Marvel vs Capcom). I though I should avoid this.

-Blue would create a girly feel, but a good friend pointed out that it would be more suitable if she had a more cold personality. This was not the case, so I decided against it, even though I was on the verge of choosing blue beforehand.

-Keeping in mind that this character is on the girly side, I thought I should make that feature prevalent, while still allowing her to look sexy, like a succubus should. This was also a driving force behind my choice of outfit.

In the end, this was a very enjoyable experience, and I hope that it won't take quite as long next time around. . .

Character Description

One of many characters in my little universe. (inspired by Dungeons and Dragons / Fire Emblem)

Celica is one of countless demons that dwell underground in a mysterious society called the Underdark, a place that no being living above the surface is welcome. As a succubus, Celica uses dark magic in combination with her sex appeal to captivate her targets and get them to do her bidding before she drains their life force.

In the months following Crimson Dawn, the Crimson Hand has bolstered their ranks at a frightening pace, including the addition of demons such as Celica, at the promise of territorial expansion, the likes of which the denizens of the Underdark would be able to encroach on the surface more easily.

As Celica assists in the designs of the Crimson Hand, she comes into contact with a group of three adventurers in direct opposition, and, quite shockingly to all, is utterly defeated in attempting to charm an unnatural human man, instead being charmed herself and persuaded to join him on his journey to topple the Crimson Hand. However, this kind of alliance doesn't come without consequence.
