CTRNF has eaten up SOOO much of my free time. Unsurprisingly, the Spyro grande prix is the first one where I unlocked everything, even skins for the CNK characters I haven't unlocked yet. That, mixed with me dabbling in the Reignited Trilogy lately, made me want to work on this. Also because I've wanted a Spyro Team Racing since I was a kid. Now I'm just thinking "How cool would it be if the sequel to Nitro-Fueled was actually just STR?!?" And then a hypothetical third instalment could be a full fledged cross-over.

So I'm just gonna wax on about this nerdy crap to get it out of my system. I used the original CTR select screen as a reference point for this, but I'll be touching on Nitro-Fueled too. Also, I feel like the stats for the Spyro character in Nitro-Fueled are all topsy turvy, so I'll be ignoring those.

  -I thought about the original 8 characters you could get in CTR. 4 heroes, 4 villains, and 2 of each of the 4 types of racers; all-arounders (R), handling (H), speed (S), and acceleration (A). It felt pretty obvious for the starting heroes to be Spyro (R), Elora (H), Hunter (S), and Bianca (A). The villains would be Gnasty Gnorc (S), Ripto (R), The Sorceress (A), and Toasty (H).

  -I went with heroes instead of villains for the boss races, since they're trying to save the world too, after all. In order, it'd be Shiela (R), Sgt. Byrd (H), Bently (S), and Agent 9 (A).

  -Beating the time trail challenges would unlock The Professor (A), beating the purple gem cup equivalent in adventure mode would get Moneybags (R), and entering the Penta cheat code would unlock an Egg Thief (S).

  -Finally, Nitro-Fueled added 10 new characters from CNK. So to balance it out, I'm just gonna say: Nestor, Titan, Cosmos, Bruno, Lateef, Crush, Gulp, Buzz, Spike, and Scorch for a pitstop equivalent.

  -After all that, I think it's just personal preference. Pretty much every level could, and should, get a track based on it. And any new Grand Prix characters could just be some of the remaining fan-favourite NPCs. As far as my personal preference for each of the trilogy goes; my preferred tacks to see would probably be Cliff Town, Autumn Plains, and Lost Fleet, and characters would be Bubba, a Fracture Hills Faun, and Bartholomew. There's too much to choose from, those are just bot the top of my head. I bet you guys could come up with some pretty rad choices too, and I'd love to hear them!

Man, this was hard. I'm used to drawing the cast of Spyro all humanized. Might try them some more. Anyway, if you made it through all that, thanks for hearing a nerd out, been on my mind for a while.

Just out of curiosity, if something like this got made, who would you main and what would your favourite track be? Pick multiple if you need to.
