So a while back there was a small rumour that there was a sequel to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal was in the works. I don't buy these arbitrary rumours with out any real proof, but with E3 on the horizon if there is any validity to said rumour, then it'll probably be at E3. I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about the first game, but that'd take WAY too long.Long story short; I liked it, the gameplay was inherently flawed but has an easy fix to it and improving the small, already enjoyable details would help the game in a major way.
Anyway, the characters. Here's five characters that would make for a great addition to the game, but I don't think any of them are particularly likely to make it in to a potential sequel. For the record, all of them are sony exclusive. I didn't want to talk about the obvious choices. My top 3 picks are Spyro the Dragon, Cloud Strife and Crash Bandicoot but there's nothing I can say about them that you haven't already heard.
Calypso from Twisted Metal: a long running franchise that's been on PS 1, 2, 3 and PSP. Sweet Tooth already represents the series, as he's the Twisted Metal mascot, but Calypso is technically the main character. He can grant wishes and usually twists them around on the wish maker. He's evil and he loves it.
Jeanne D'Arc form a game of the same name: Loosely based on the store of Joan of Arc, Jeanne is the main character from a tactical RPG on the PSP. In this high fantasy retelling, Britain summoned demons to win the war and Jeanne was actually chosen by god the defend France, ain't that a kicker?
Lady Maria of the Astral Clock Tower from Bloodborne: No joke, Bloodborne is my favourite game of the modern console generation and Lady Maria is my favourite character/boss fight. She's a beast hunter turned nightmare guardian whom uses a dual blade that can split apart, a pistol and blood and fire magic as the fight goes on. She's a badass in every sense of the word.
Rudy Roughknight from Wild ARMS: Aside from Cloud and Dart, Rudy is one of my first choices to represent PS1 RPGs. He's a wondering teen with a heart of gold just looking to be accepted. He uses various types of fire arms and bombs and calling upon his two party members, Jack and Cecilia, would make for a fun move set.
Yunica from Gravity Rush: Kat already represents Gravity Rush but I gotta be honest here, this is a purely biased choice. I really like Yunica. She's a military cyborg with a jetpack and robo arm that can turn into a massive lance or a huge energy cannon. You just know that'd make for a fun, fast paced play style.
Right now, I think the idea of a sequel is unlikely and I think any of these five being in it is unlikely, but damn if I don't want both.

I would love to see these characters, especially Yunica and Calypso
