Grotto Falls, Smoky Mountain National Park.This isn't the actual Grotto waterfall, but it's a waterfall that is just after it. There were a total of 3 different waterfalls strung together here, I personally like the other 2 better than the actual Grotto Fall. Unfortunately time didn't permit me to take photos of the 3rd fall. This is one of my more favorite photos from my trip.
There is almost no photo editing done to this one. I adjusted the contrast only very small amount and the brightness just a tad. I really love how this one turned out. The only think that I don't like is the stick that's on the second waterfall in this photo, but I don't like to disturb nature for my photos, so I left the stick in place, right were Mother Nature intended it to be.

well thank you very much John. It's been killing me not being able to just go out and shoot. this morning was one of the most beautiful sunrises i've seen in a long time. the snow on the branches, the sun peaking over the horizon glistening off of a nearby lake, and the snow falling from a cloudless sky, and the soft colors colors, it killed me that i had to go to school.

Excellent work on this! A very nice exposure with nice high and low lights. I'd say the shutter spped for this is about right
