Just watched it today, the moment I saw Fujimoto in that first few minutes, my thoughts were "It's Howl, 20 years later, after going off the deepend, and a lot of crack!"
Turns out, I wasn't THAT far off the mark XD
If only he wasn't such a suckish dad :< Granted, he's busy...preparing to kill all mankind, or something...and he DOES have a SCHOOL of daughters as is...but if you're going to name your eldest BRUNHILDE, you know you're asking for trouble >_>
Makes me wonder why he doesn't just make a corral outside the sea-house to put the kids in. The fish-tank in the middle of the lab doesn't even seem SAFE...

haha, its not really a spoiler, he's one of the main characters XD In the opening scene of de movie actually. ^^ He was what kept me watchin the whole thing. I cant help but fall in love with the crazy magician boyz from ghibli -^.^-
