Today I came happy from school because I knew there won't be more fillers, and Gaara was going to tell his long awaited speech.Everything went fine, when THIS happened. You know what I did? I left the room. I couldn't deal with THIS.
Here's another reason why the Matsuri whore is a filler,for the annoying fans of GaaMatsu who continue making them fanart.
She didn't appear in the manga in that moment. I thought I didn't have to see anymore of her annoying screams of complete fangirlism (don't know if it's a word, but whatever).

How could she love him when she always seems to admire him when he does something out of the ordinary, because he's cool and strong and the Kazekaghe. Where do you see the love?

I loved Matsuri in the first part. I totally shipped GaaMatsu...the way she accepted him and agreed to be his student. When I saw he was the only one who didn't have student I was about to cry, but when I saw her go to him I felt reassured. I was happy for him.
But in part 2 I FELT she just likes him because he is Kazekage. If you like someone you don't just go to him with that attitude. Anyway...I'm happy Gaara is not buying her shit. I was glad he shoved her when she tried to help him stand when he came back to life. Payback for when she shoved his rescuer. I would rather Gaara be gay for Naruto than fall for her.
I don't hate her. I just don't want her to be with Gaara...under any kind of condition. She CAN'T make him happy. He's too mature for her. They have different tempers. She is just a brat.
Sakura was a kid when she fangirled after Sasuke. She understands the situation better and as time passed she matured and 'bloomed'. She loves Sasuke.
Hinata always liked Naruto. Ever since they were students at the Academy. She NEVER fangirled after him. She declared she loves him.
Matsuri is one year older than everybody and she should have realized how she should behave. Not like a brat, but like she actually meant it. (she is 17 by the way)
I respect Kishi's decision as long as she will not form a couple with Gaara. I also have the right to bash on her. Because I can't pretend otherwise. Why should I say I love this character? I don't. if she wasn't given that story in the fillers i might not hate her so much because the "elite and cool" are of course gonna have fan girls that mean nothing to the story, BUT they made her mean a HUGE something to gaara and that is a big no.
