Name: Linde
Game: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light & Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem (plus remakes)
Class: Mage
SIGNATURE WEAPON: The Aura tome, inherited from her father

Linde is an enchanting (no pun intended) young lass from the kingdom of Archanea, the daughter of Miloah. Her father was one of the students of Gotoh, the White Sage, and was entrusted the powerful magic tome known as Aura by Gotoh to protect it. This enraged Gotoh's other pupil, Gharnef, who in his rage fell to the dark arts and took the liberty of orphaning Linde- Aura being the last thing she managed to get from Miloah before his death.
She wandered the continent for some time, disguising herself as a young boy to avoid being hunted down by Gharnef's lackeys- this, however, made her just as much of a target to slavers, who captured her and brought her to their market in Knorda. She was eventually rescued by Prince Marth of Altea, who learned of her plight. She swore to aid him in stopping- and ending the life of- her father's murderer by any means necessary. Whether she was the one to fell Gharnef with the legendary Starlight magic or someone else performed the act is up for historical debate- as is whether Gharnef was even slain during the War of Shadows in the first place.
Linde became one of Princess Nyna's servants, and two years later was tasked by her to deliver Marth the Fire Emblem - House Archanea's divine treasure- while being warned that something terrible was coming. Soon enough, she would find herself in a new battle- one that threatened to destroy peace as the world knew it- known as the War of Heroes.
