Hey guys! I know I'm totally late on this, but Happy Awareness Month! I know this is quite simple, but behind the drawing is basically to represent how we must continue to show & educate people what autism is & how we can inspire many. Recently, people have been calling this month now as Autism Acceptance Month, it is a nice title, but I believe that it should not be called that since there are many who are still unaware & uneducated what autism is. And what better way to do that than to have little Adele run around & show & tell? (For those who are wondering about her upgrade, I will write a journal as soon as I can)NOTE: I am fully aware of the controversies of the company, Autism Speaks, & therefore do not support them. The puzzle piece in this picture is used to NOT represent the company, but of those with autism, like yours truly.Β
Anyway, I hope you guys like it & I'll post more stuff when I can since I'm on spring break.Β

her hair design is flawless. the way her hair curls up at the ends in a loose manor. The ribbons are a nice touch innocence and bring out the youthful glow in her personality.
The way her bangs are parted to the side with detailed lining and not to mention the beautiful color in her hair! the texture over all in the colors is wonderful and vivid! the colors compliment each other in every way! the background is the definition of serenity or a magical place!
the sparkles make me smile and add a wonderful effect as well! I'm absolutely obsessed with the skirt! specially in all your works, the way you draw clothes so detailed and always demonstrating such beauty in everything you make! Her anatomy is wonderful! (and your skills are to die for!!!! I just love it!)
over all this piece is perfect for autism awareness! the puzzle piece is soo cute!!

I always thought it was in March. While I don't exactly hate Autism Speaks like I do PETA, I find their much of their content very stereotypical. A perfect example would be this comic:Β quirks-and-chaos.blogspot.com/β¦

I was thinking of doing that but with the puzzle pieces, each with a part of a character's face. I'm hoping to create my very own TV show someday, which will feature a wide variety of characters and bring more representation to the disabled community.Β Β
I'm looking very forward to going to the Kelly Autism Program this week. Not only is my home life extremely depressing, but I hope it will help me so much more that the very little to nonexistent support back there as well.

No, the other reason why I made a note was that I get a comment about autism speaks all the Tim & it drives me crazy. But all in all, I don't really like their morals. When I went to the walk at Rose Bowl last year, one women said, "We will cure autism" What's to cure? It's like hearing people say, "Let's pray the gay away"; which is so disturbing to hear. And don't get me started with the topic of them not hirring people with autism. I still can't get over that bull crap.Β
