Well, I can't DRAW landscapes, I can only speed paint them, modeled from photographs (forget doing it from memory~)
Likewise, I can NEVER do traditional backgrounds the way you do, I have major issues with straight lines, even with rulers, and I can't draw small, that's why painting them digitally is easier for me because I can blow up the canvas. I'm blind. XD
I tried doing traditional backgrounds with copics the way you do, I fail miserably. I need more practice. You're so much more skilled with copics than I ever can hope to be and even my digital art needs work.
So I'm taking a hiatus. Trying to change my style~ It now takes me weeks to complete a drawing, but I guess the more time I spend on it the better.

honey, have you seen my panels so far? My line are lopsided like crazy! I even used a ruler & it's still not straight.
I use reference as well. I mean I live in a city, so there's hardly any tress where I live, so I have to look them up.

I gotta run, now, I have to finish Kay and Ky's birthday gifts. I should have started them sooner, I didn't realise it was gonna take me so long. It's been taking me a few days now just to draw, ink and colour both of them (well also because I was so indeceisive on what to do, I haven't drawn EEnE in so long that it's been hard getting back into the swing of it. It looks more like my style; I was gonna do something else, like their original projects, Reign over Raine and Alma Mater. Maybe another time, I'm running out of time, it'll be the end of July before they're finished, lol, and I still got your bday gift that will be upcoming too). They said I didn't have to do anything this year, but I feel bad if I don't. Esp. cuz Ky hasn't celebrated her birthday in a few years because of everything.
And I still got a ton of other stuff to finish for people, I'm so backed up right now, the years go by too fast and I'm so slow. Sigh. So stressed right now. Sorry I'm talking so much, I didn't sleep all night and I get pretty crazy when I'm running on lack of sleep. XD
