Description
Harking back to my Aussie roots with this painting! Painted four years ago – one of my first commissioned paintings.Purely executed in pen and watercolour as I was yet to introduce gouache, coloured pencils or coloured inks into my work.

Oh-o-oh! I finally decided to go through your gallery and I'm not disappointed. I wish you'd made this image a bit bigger, so I could see the details... But his is absolutely gorgeous, Gabriel, so Australian, so many feelings! I love how you drew the possum and the kookaburra, the former is one of my most favourite animals (in my previous house, we used to feed them oranges on the balcony). I think it was a great idea to make the kangaroos and the frog 'do something', the overall scene is very compelling.

This piece is really touching; I absolutely love it! The way you drew all the animals is just too cute! Alligators and crocodiles are some of my favorite animals, and I just love how peaceful and happy they are along with the rest of the animals in this peace! I prefer to see them like this much more so than as ruthless predators. Deep down, we all have a peaceful side, in my opinion, and I really feel you nailed that ideology and atmosphere in this piece!
