Description Bored so I decided to dig up an old sketchy and play with the watercolor brushes in Painter. Lol, I went overboard with the sponges. they're just so fun ^___^ But yeah... I've got nothing to say. >_>

Got back from PortCon... should be sleeping but the second I tried to rest the whole dog is dead thing kinda crashed in on me. So I fiddled with a semi old pic of mine. This was originally an experiment for me to figure out Painter. My lovely Void Admira, Syrt. I miss doing my original stuff. Now tis pretty... although there are problems in the original pic that I missed when fixing this, bleh.

Ehe! I am reminded of HIM now. Aa, but this is lovely! Very nice design. I love how elegant his looks, the body and face are excellently done and the background is gorgeous. I probably sound redundant, but this is very lovely (I am amazed the background especially).

i absolutely adore the hair, face, and entire body. the colors are so striking and beautiful! i adore the wind design behind his body because it's less obvious and adds to the depth and design of the illustration i feel. i also like all the cross lines in front of us in purple and irridescent shades of color because it really adds to depth. very, very nice!

I really adore the use of color here... it's just so vibrant not overly so.. you do a good job of contrasting the colors with one another in a pleasing manner to the eye... great job

OMG, the coloring is so awesome!!! Great job with the brush effects, it looks just like real water color! The sponge does look really good, it really adds to the overall tone of the pic! It looks super fantastic, keep up the wonderful work!

Thanks! This was an experimental piece so I'm glad people actually like it. I just loved the overlays of the sponge I used, I think it helped balance the colors.

Thanks... yeah, it's the watercolor brushes but it ended up looking like color pencil when I shrunk it. Oh well.

Yes, yes, that's why they barely wear clothes, they're just too hot. XP I think you have the best description with the 'psychedelic yet surreal', basically what I was going for. Weeee, before I forget. Was painter the program you were talking about recently getting? If not they have a free trial download here [link] I bought the Corel IX off ebay for only 100 bucks (proud of my thriftyness XD) sos if you're interested luv.

Painter IX for a hundred bucks?! Goddamn that was an awesome deal. Anyway, I do have the trial, and I have been meaning to do something with it. But I'm too attached to Photoshop X3. I've gone from CGing painterly and CG-like to wanting to do patterns.
