This scene scared me like hell, when I first saw it, and I nearly yelled that he should run, run, run as fast as he could! It's been a long time since a graphic novel impressed me so much like Locke And Key, and I think it's because of the wonderful combination of great dialogues and storytelling by Joe Hill and your intense and visionary drawings.

The bottom panel of this page made me jump while reading Locke & Key. Normally I only react that way when watching thriller/horror movies, but with the way this scene was setup, it scared the crap out of me. I literally had to look away right after seeing Dodge's eyes. Your art is so expressive and well-done that you gave me my first graphic novel-fright! Thanks so much!
