Now that's a watercolor painting I'm actually pretty proud of! I made it for a friend's birthday and had a lot of fun painting it.

The original idea was to paint a cool Nordic landscape (this is supposed to be a finnish forest, btw), but I ended up adding a little mysterious character, painting those iconic dark spots on birch trees. I painted them with some iridescent ink, so the actual painting has a bit of sparkle to it!

Time: ~2 hours
Tools: watercolor, iridescent black ink and white gel pen on watercolor paper
