Quick summary :

After a neutral route where toriel undyne and asgore died, the underground is left in total chaos and since there's nobody to reprimand them a group of monsters just go around doing whatever they want, bullying other monsters and sometimes even killing them
So the rest of the population is just left in constant paranoia
at one point papyrus gets killed by this band and if you're on pacifist, the people will revolt against the band of evil monsters
If you are on genocide everyone gives up and lets you kill them
when arriving to the judgement hall you learn that sans has killed all of the member of the group for revenge, giving him a bit of exp, and now he's planning on killing you
He's already really hurt from the battle agaisnt the band but he will end up accidentally killing himself with his own attacks
