I looked at some many different light colors,wondering which would match the dark coloring

I happen to love dark colors on lions (mostly males, but females look gorgeous that way too) and I especially like either the rich, dark-reddish brown, or the dark, chocolate brown. :3 They always contrast nicely with some light gold, tan, lighter brown, etc.

No thing I don't like is when people use neon or crazy colors on the lions

Yeah, neon just burns the eyes. I don't mind if there's a little of a non-traditional color, as long as the lion isn't like in a pride or anything. For just a random OC you made for fun, that's cool. But not in the whole pride, lion, Africa scene, nuh uh.
