Description
It took so long to find a name for this team that a new Justice League team in the comics was the one I went with.

Power Girl

Being a fan of JL8 I thought Power Girl deserved a spot in the Justice League. The main changes I made from my earlier design were giving her Supergirl’s cape, new gloves, the Justice League belt and removing the boob window. I like this design more personally.

Captain Shazam

Since DC don’t own the publishing rights to the name Captain Marvel ever since the New 52 they decided to rename him Shazam (which was what all his comics were called anyway). I decided I wanted him to keep the Captain title but have a different name from Marvel’s Captain Marvel.

Black Lightning

His design is mostly a mix of Young Justice and Brave & The Bold but I mixed up the colour scheme a bit.

The Question

After drawing Rorschach I knew I had to draw the character that inspired his creation. Didn’t really chance much from his usual design outside of the added Justice League belt buckle.

Vixen

I was inspired more by fanart than her actual costumes which I found to be underwhelming.

Plastic Man

I decided to be silly with his design. He’s more of a comical character than his Marvel counterpart Mr. Fantastic so I decided to give him an exaggerated stance with the intent of mocking the stances commonly used for female characters in comics that make them look like they have no spine.

Red Tornado

I included him since he played a large role in Young Justice. It and Brave & The Bold were the main influences for the design. I also removed his cape because he has wind powers, when your main power is creating tornadoes I think Edna Mode’s iconic “NO CAPES!" line applies.
