Description The Crane is a webcomic drawn by Sir-Wesley 666 and written by Cpkeyes, also known as Gaiaverse. The Crane is about two people; Miya the Wandering Ronin and Bona, the Pilgrim of Eimhaer who wanders the stars to spread the word of the lord and help those in need.

Now, despite the fact that The Wandering Crane takes place in the far future, mostly in a society of a race that doesn't exist, I am trying to keep it accurate to Japanese culture, my primary basis for Ragon society.

Now, I'll admit that I am no expert on Japanese culture, simply someone very interested in it.

The burial on this page is meant to be akin to a Buddhist burial, keeping in theme with the Edo-period influence on the Ragon. The body is cremated, the relatives of the deceased they pick the bones (starting with the feet to ensure the deceased is not upside down upon burial) out of the ash and transfer them into an urn. The grave is a stone monument, with a place for flowers, incense, and water in front of the monument.

What is place in front of the moment depends on the culture of the deceased and their family, for instance, Daceni place a leash, Maceni place a Red Tulip and Luceni place a significant property of the deceased, such as a sword if the deceased was a Bushi.
