Someone asked me if the Odyssey tutorial could be used for larger stones (the lesson calls for a 13mm x 18mm cabochon). This one is 22x30mm, and it worked! You just have to make sure to weave the bezel long enough to go around the stone, and wide enough to cover the beveled side of the stone.

For this pendant I also used modified techniques from two of my other tutorials. For the scrolls on the side, I used my Lace Pendant tutorial: www.jewelrylessons.com/tutoria… (just attached it to the sides of the weave as I made the swirls). Now comes the really painful part. Should I keep it or sell it? hmmmm.... that's a hard decision to make!
