Miiverse has officially ended now.
For those who don't know Miiverse was a social network for Nintendo's Wii U and 3DS video game systems.

This was my first drawing on Miiverse of EVA Unit 01from Neon Genesis Evangelion
It was posted on August 22 2013. It was the first time I really tried to complete a drawing while using references to make sure it was accurate.
The positive feedback I received really inspired me to try drawing a bit more and before I knew it I became addicted. I wanted to keep drawing, to keep bettering my skills. It was thanks to Nintendo, Miiverse and all the wonderful and kind people I met that I was able to do that.
I felt in order to grow as an artist I had to move away from Miiverse so for the latter part of 2016 and most of 2017 I didn't really post there too much. But just because I moved away doesn't mean I stopped caring about Miiverse. It was always so nice to see the people there. That's what I truly loved about Miiverse. The community was so kind and nurturing. No matter what I will never forget Miiverse. It may seem silly to some but that program really pushed my life in a direction I'm happy with. Seeing myself as artist grow was satisfying and I have nothing else but Miiverse to thank for that.
