I'm doing the casino mission for #PMD-Explorers ' Mission 6:
-Head to Alomomola City ***Complete!***
-Enter Kingβs Rock Casino, show letter to gain access backstage ***Uh...kind of?***

-Retrieve sizeable cash reward from Anana ***Complete!***
And the Rescuers' main mission...sort of.
-Find Winston and Maple
-Rescue any missing Pokemon

Page 15 of 17. One of the bags falls and splits open, revealing...a whole horde of Enigma Berries! Sensing the immense amount of star power buried inside, Lipless starts eating them and realizes how good they taste. Unfortunately, everyone else in the audience identifies them as...*gasp*...DRUGS! In the aftermath of all that craziness, Kathy and Chuck make an official report of everything that happened. Rigley and Lipless get their money, and Lipless uses it to create a short-lived Enigma Berry business that was going to be a total failure anyway. Her teammates find her and carry her away from the torch and pitchfork-carrying mob just in time, all the way back home to Castle Draclugia.
Finally, you get to see the moment when Lipless begins to like eating Enigma Berries for the first time. I figured that since her evolution line likes star power and Enigma Berries are filled with star power, why not? I hope I've made it clear that she does not experience ANY side effects from eating them.
And I'm so glad I finally get to draw a male Mawile. Hooray for Nibble the sushi chef-turned pitchfork wielder...or something! For once, ~SVP-Cule 's style of humor made sense for me to implement.
I'm not sure whether Pokemon have TV in PMD-E land or not, but I couldn't help but frame this aftermath as a news report. This won't be the last time you'll hear of this "Maphia", believe me.
Kathy the Chatot, Chuck the Farfetch'd, Anana the Kecleon, and Nibble the Mawile are NPCs belonging to #PMD-Explorers .

"King X" is also a hidden reference to Queen X, the primary villain (who can not only shapeshift, but infect people, kill them, and copy their DNA) in The Other Amy.
Yup, that's an adorable mob! Nibble and Anana were just too cute to draw. Axel the torch-wielding Riolu is the only one who's remotely uncute, and yet...he ended up kinda being that way too, I guess.

Technically, drugs are only that when they are abused. And since her line likes star power, they might not have the same effects on her like they would have on other pokemon. That could be the simple reason why she doesn't experience any side effects.
