Kanja was just... found. A chance encounter with a random feline who saw the cub being carried by the riptide. Saved in a desperate attempt his early memories are the concerned cries of the one who found him. A confuse and lost cub was a worrying sight, and even worrysome was his apparent lack of interest in anything. He ate just a little, spoke even less and couldn't remember anythign not even his own name. He seemed to be aware of an adult in his life but that was the end of it.
He spent a long time in the healing dens, being observed and cared of for sometime, until the healers realized he was helthy, just lonesome. He was transfered to the cubsitters care where he could interact with healthy adult and other cubs... if he wanted that of course. He continuied spending time by himself, but now he was more confortable to leave the side of adults, go exploring near the kingdom, approach other cubs and even talk! He's still a guy of little words, but he says 'good morning' back
