Sometimes we do a lot and put many efforts in making something done, but then the response we get may not that good.
Though, I believe it is just a matter of time. And according to my experience, the best way to gain more attentions on your work is by building up more social interactions. Not only in walfas work, but this concept can be used in various things in our life.
So take it easy, I'm sure you'll get more notices as long as your works are good. I have to admit that I really like the Pocket Eiki series! Look forward to more works from you! \(^v^)/

If you want it to be more popular, you have to get out there and get people interested >_>
That's the fastest way, but definitely not the easiest way for some.
Other than that, it just takes some time and it'll creep out there... eventually.

Maybe it's just the way I was raised, but I was always taught that a good story and plotline are a thousand times better thanย pandering to the common masses with the meme of the day.

This is partially the reason I'm not around the StationWagon as much as I used to be. Hopefully, if I manage to get my projects up before this month ends, this sentiment will be heard by more people. ^^

> Generic & mainstream
> Effortless joke purpose
> Whatever I make is well-known
This is how everything works in reality,
Cause it happens to me -most- of the time
How much do I care? Not even a single care
Cause I know that a "well-developed" "unique" story will be appreciated better than I mentioned above
It might be not being appreciated at first, but slowly the day will come, you just need to wait
A little note from me,
> Be patient and don't give up
> Do your best and put all of your effort into it
> Be proud of yourself for being unique
Sorry for intruding out of nowhere...

Ya know, I can kinda relate in a way. A couple years back, people wouldn't have given me the time of day, let alone read my comics. These days, even though I'm well-known member of the community, I sometimes wonder if my work will get noticed by the general public. Heck, I fear having all the work I've poured into making games like MajiKana be all for naught. But you know what? I press on anyways. It's often said that it's better to try than to not try at all. Even if you fail, even if you don't get noticed, you still tried the best you could given the circumstances.
But, if you're really bent on getting noticed by others, then maybe it would pay off to notice others? You say in your description that you rarely read others' comics. Everyone, no matter how popular, wants to get noticed, and if you notice them, it's possible that they just might notice you in return. I, for instance, almost always check out anyone who favorites or comments on my work, to see what they have to offer. It doesn't matter if your effort is as token as a favorite or as thought-out as a heart-warming comment, someone will notice you eventually, and might stop by to check out who you are.

You're right. It's always a good idea to give back in return.

This comic matches my sentiment, and is one of the reasons I don't buy into !Community Spirit!โขยฎยฉ
You're the right person to bring this problem up as well; you do good work , so your complaint can't be so easily dismissed with an ad hominem argument.

You're a talented individual. I like looking at and reading things you come up with. Like with Eiki, you make her adorable.
I would say, go for anything that comes to mind. If other people have negative or "unnatural" things about it, just know that you are in control of your stuff.

Maybe you should start a German walfas club or something. That would be cool. Or like, a walfas club for people who don't have English as their first language.
