History
Not a particularly charismatic man but hes always seen with a jump in his step and a smile on his face. Very enthusiastic about his career and just loves rambling to people about movies and other random things. Hes always been an adrenaline junkie, like many boys jumping off bridges and climbing trees like they were going out of style.
Ennis knew he wanted to be big, to make people gasp in awe for his performances. The only way he could think about going into show business was through the circus, and like many started off by going to a clown college of sorts. Leaving home against the wises of his family and joining the circus, painting his face white and red and donning fake hair as he did stunts that many would have refused. Ennis never said no, only when can I get started. He eventually got upgraded to being an acrobat but something still felt like it was missing.
As film started to gain traction Ennis found himself hired as a stuntman for performances a bit too dangerous for the actors. He was barely paid and often left work with bruised and sore but this was the best time of his life. Jumping across roof tops, buildings falling down and climbing on trains. It was so exciting! But soon he was starting to get what was considered the wrong side of 20, and all these younger men were more energetic and willing to work for even less.
Ennis didn't like that. Accidents happen you know? All it took was a bit too much gunpowder in the prop gun and oh no.... What was supposed to be a simple cowboy shoot down became a the scene of a crime. Poor poor young man dead after a gun's misfire.
He came to work the next day with a skip in his step and a smile on his face and awaiting the news that he would replace the lead stuntman. He was the best in the local biz after all.
What? They went with Jonses? Haha! Well thats just **great** So happy for the man. Its okay, there's always more work and Ennis was nothing if not optimistic. The birds were chirping and life was the best thing.
A Tarzan film was in the works and oh my what an opportunity! .... Ah, Ennis got a job as one of the men in animal costumes. Haha! Jonses got the job again? Haha! Haha! Haha!
...Oh whats that? Jonses can't do it now? His rope broke? Oh nooooo.... " Me? Well we've worked together before and I've never had a major accident! I'd be a great fit for Tarzan's stunt actor " Swinging through the trees wearing the loin cloth and wig, his face was never seen, never remembered but that's not what he needed. He just needed to be on screen.
Haha! What the diddly do? What the gosh darn dinger is this. This isn't Hollywood, this isn't his future. Dernee? Wait, there's no stuntmen here? A small blooming film industry? It seems there's still export to the outside world- what better way to become the real star if there's no competition. Haha!
