Rell to the rescue!So I am curious....how many of you have seen more than one reference to various Zelda games thus far that I've stuck into the comic? Could you name them all?

Hahahaha. Rell's outfit is based off of Tetra's from Wind Waker. For obvious and not so obvious reasons. :3

Let's see, the lightning could be inferred from both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess; both use it heavily, Twilight Princess especially in the last leg of the game, not to mention as a sky effect. The shadow creature is definitely based on the shadow kargarok you defeat, then ride, in Lake Hylia.
Also, you are getting really good at drawing horses! Epona looks pretty damn believable

Hahahaha...I was thinking more along the lines of A Link to the Past with all the lightning and stuff. In fact, this entire chapter thus far, is a nod in the direction of ALttP.
The shadow creature is spot on, so you're doing great there!

Well, lets see...we have an uncle, a young hero and a storm, plus as weird dream involving a princess and lots of other things. Hmmm...XD
But yeah, this chapter starts off heavily with ALttP. But there are other references from the other games present, obviously. ^^

Hahahaha. I'm old, cause my first Zelda game was the original itself. XD So I have a lot to pull from everywhere, including the often disliked Adventure of Link.
The GBA version of ALttP is quite cute and I was happy when they remade it for the GBA. The graphics were so cute!

Well, I'm an oldbie who was born at the time of Legend of Zelda and was hooked to videogames at a very tender age. My first game played was actually Mario Bros. Then it was Zelda and it's been a lifelong love ever since.
It's nice to have something you like. I know that some things I didn't like at first, but after a second go or look, I usually end up falling in love. And when I go back and replay things, I fall in love all over again. <3

this page alone, the monster looks like one of the flying monsters from TP, and TP is also brought in with the fence jumping .3.

Shadow Kin Alpha was, in fact, based off of the bird mount Midna can ride in TP. :3
And the fence jumping is along the lines of both TP and OoT.
