Look guys, I made an OC.... or an FC, whatever, so now I'm a TRUE dA artist! Actually I made this because I'm in a collab that requires a human character, so I had to invent one. I'm still figuring out the personality and whatnot, but the design and backstory are practically done. She's tailored for the Narutoverse because NINJAS. But knowing me, crossovers WILL HAPPEN. Here's a bit of what I've come up with thus far:
MEET 銀河の子ズキニ ZUKINI GINGANOKO!
Yes, her name is pronounced like the vegetable, but if Sasuke can name his daughter "Salad", then heck, anything is possible. She prefers going by Zuki, understandably. "Ginganoko" means "child of the galaxy" (I think), hence the starry outfit. She hails from Hoshigakure, the Village Hidden in the Stars (see my cleverness?). The shinobi there are not typical ninja, because of space radiation and whatnot. Thus Zukini is a jacked-up nin. When she was a baby, her parents brought her to the village's mystical meteorite that granted humans special chakra control merely by being in its presence (lol filler canon). They thought some early exposure wouldn't hurt. As her mother was holding little Zuki over the fallen star, Zuki being a baby started slobbering profusely. The drool hit the meteorite and steamed and exploded as it made contact with the reactive stone. OH SNAP! A direct connexion was established between the meteorite and Zuki's baby mouth via the drool (making this up as I go along, understand) and chakra writhed around all over the place, blue mixing with purple. Zuki's mother screamed as her baby's hazel eyes flashed indigo and back to hazel like a strobe. The drool-chakra mix was beginning to take form...
HAHA you'll have to wait to read the rest of the backstory, because you may have noticed this picture is missing its right half. The story won't make sense if you can't see the other half!
Flash forward to present day, where Zuki is... 18 or something (can't decide on the exact age). She's got Special Eyes... I wanna call it 複眼 "Fukugan" (because they gan-fuk-u, get it? I kid; Fukugan means "compound eye" in Japanese.) They're two quarters hazel, two quarters indigo when activated. But normally her eyes are plain hazel. The technique will be explained in more detail later. (am I even allowed to invent a dojutsu??? Well, it's happening because RADIATION DOES STRANGE THINGS)
Zuki's prefered close-range combat is bojutsu, literally hitting people with a big stick (bo). The bo was actually a popular weapon among real-life ninja, since it is versatile and easy to make (step 1: find a stick. step 2: start hitting people.) They make for excellent defense and can disable opponents swiftly, when used properly. Why is there a fish on the end of Zuki's? That shall be answered later. Patience, patience. Although you can probably guess. AND THE HORNS AREN'T REAL, CHILL BRUH
So there's my FC. If you happen to notice that she closely resembles some other character in some way, then tell me, I won't be offended, and I'll alter the design. I try to make characters that don't copy other characters but sometimes I unconsciously draw something I've seen. Or it's just plain coincidence. Also if you want to help me resolve any Japanese grammatical issues I've made, that would be great. All I have for reference is Google Translate and a Kanji converter. ^_^"
