I love this AU. This AU needs more love. X'D I know I mainly use these AUs as an excuse to draw Phinabella, but I really do wanna expand Buford and Baljeet's stories in this one. I also wanna eventually do an AU of this AU where they swap roles again, since that's pretty standard.I also changed Baljeet's hat, because it's easier to draw and remember this way.

Yes, Baljeet is a Boy Scout in every sense of the word.
Isabella isnt just rough and tumble, she is, in fact, the bully character in this AU. She still has the same crush on Phineas, though.
Buford is less of the smart one and more of a geek in this AU. He is SMART, smarter than his canon counterpart, but thats less a gimmick with him in this AU. Hes not a mathematician. Hes just very helpful in this AU, and doesnt like confrontation.

I imagine Isabella's brain having a meltdown upon seeing her SiSw (that's my acronym for this AU) counterpart, Baljeet fainting and Buford running and screaming.

...hm...I dunno, those reactions seem waaaayyyy too extreme. Especially since theyve likely met their 2D counterparts before. If not, then at the VERY least Phineas and Ferb have, and given that even CANDACE took meeting herself well, I highly doubt those three, sans maybe Baljeet and even thats a stretch, would react in such an exaggerative way.
Besides, Baljeet fainting at seeing himself in a Boy Scout uniform? Why, exactly? Buford running and screaming because his counterpart is a meek geek? Instead of telling him off for being a total “ nerd “? Isabella may not like her bully counterpart, but I highly doubt she would so shocked that it would cause her to have a meltdown.

Canon Buford: What the- how did I become a total nerd?! What dark sorcery is this?!
SiSw Buford: I'm sensing some hostility here. Let's all just take a nice, deep, calming breath.
SiSw Izzy and Canon Buford: CAN IT, NERD!
Canon Baljeet: At least tell me you are still an academic powerhouse in your dimension.
SiSw Baljeet: No time for summer school. I have too many patches to earn.
Canon Baljeet: I do not even know you anymore.
Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb were looking on in a mixture of confusion and curiosity. Nevertheless, their counterparts had to be sent back.
Canon Phineas: Ferb, I think we need to pay that pharmacist another visit, and bring the kneecap-busting wrench this time.

(Ferb proceeds to pull out the kneecap-busting wrench that is, of course, used ONLY for busting kneecaps; to this day Phineas still doesn't know where his brother got this, or why) Hm...we'll use that as a plan C. (Ferb raises an eyebrow) You know, in case Plan B (motions to Isabella wielding the hammer) doesn't work out. Plan A is just talking to him like civil people.
Isabella: Phineas, I love you, but you're no fun sometimes.
Phineas: Attacking people with a hammer and a kneecap-busting wrench is fun to you guys?
Ferb/Isabella: [Without even missing a beat] Yes.
Phineas: I worry for you two sometimes, but okay. I'm not one to judge.

It's of my own creation; it's called The Sidekick Swap AU, in which I switched the roles of Isabella , Buford , and Baljeet. To put it simply, Isabella is the bully, Buford is the nerd (really he's a rich, soft-spoken geek), and Baljeet is a Boy Scout. That being said, Isabella still has a crush on Phineas, Buford still has Biff, and Baljeet is still the same neurotic; but due to the swap, their personalities ARE altered. So Isabella is a lot meaner, Buford is meek, and Baljeet is more confident but also a lot bossier.

Indeed it is! In this AU Phineas is aware of Isabellas feelings and returns them, but Isabella herself doesnt quite realize this and tries to act all Tsundere about it.
