I decided to bring Periwinkle to the main cast because I want to increase the number of contestants to 32.

Periwinkle is a popular hot girl stereotype, and thinks she doesn't have to do anything herself because others will do it for her just to date for one single night.

Why was she invited to Earth?
The Queen, who she feels like she doesn't have to listen to, was tired of the way Periwinkle acted and has sent her to Earth to separate her from popularity. Obviously her fans were devastated, but this move was for the better, or Peri won't learn.
