Xeer's sleep has been uneasy for the past few months. Her mind has been troubled by strange dreams. Dreams that have grown in intensity and nearly always take the same turn - as a persistent, recurring nightmare would.
   Unfathomable power rests in ancient places, power bound to forbidden tomes and abandoned altars. Lost knowledge, terrible spells and potent rituals waiting to be discovered, studied and unleashed. The power to end life and command death itself.. for a price.
   There is price to pay then? But the price is surely trivial compared to the sheer power that awaits the seeker! One just needs to set out on the path and search! It is that simple. Perhaps she should investigate? Start searching, see if there is truth to these dreams. Just listen to the whispers..
   Hello everyone! Today I'd like to share my annual 'test myself' piece, a tradition that started several years back and somehow naturally comes back to me every May. I've started on this at the beginning of May and finally finished after more than 50 hours of work. The character featured is Xeer, a young mage, as she sees herself in these strange dreams. Do you think she will follow the whispers? Is this her future, or just a twisted nightmare better forgotten?
   What about you? Would you follow the whispers, or seek help in dealing with the nightmare?
   I hope you like the final result of my efforts!
