Mmh, I don't exactly see things this way, Herbyd...there's not a dark side, they - the peasant girls, the shepherdesses etc - act the way they act 'cause they're persuaded to take the right decision. They see themselves as fighters against evil...and in their scheme of things snakes are but vile, contemptible creatures.

Such an innocent and cute side! Although she's not very innocent as far as the snakes are concerned! Such a cool redness to her soles! Makes me think they'd be sweaty sometimes. The snakes probably don't like the smell. Or the pressure.
