It's odd that, before reading your comment, the first words that came into mind, having seen this image, were 'delicate' and 'precise', much like a surgeon... one hopes! I love how the colours of blue and red try to bleed into the image, through the picture on the wall and the cables behind the speakers. His expression is almost one of surprise; that we've invaded his space during his... favourite pastime.
Really an intriguing and a well-executed image.

nice way to see it...
i liked the touch the painting gave to the image, but about the cables.. i would have removed them if i had realized they were there before.
i also agree with the adjectives that came into your mind, they match the image quite well in my opinion

in fact i wished (after taking the picture) that i had taken them off the image completely, to make it more simple.

I love the blue cast to this picture. the picture itself is wonderful too, I like the monochromatic aspect of the white clothing and solid covered couch. The globe gives it a kind of ethereal feel and casts a nice soft light. The only thing for me is that it would have been kind of nice to capture some of the roundness, curves of the globe because it is the only thing that looks 2D to me right now. Otherwise great job!

hmm yes it would have been nice.. but you know how hard it is to take pictures of light sources without getting all the rest too dark. but i agree with you it would have been better.

at first i didnΒ΄t see who the audiophile was, on second thought i think the photo might not work with another Β΄modelΒ΄ (how i dislike that word)
its all together very interesting, yes indeed it has this pure and light touch/feel to it, and the fashion factor, but theres something else which is hard to put my finger on. i was really thinking about that for a while maybe its his typical - authentic expression (as usual)
right, anyway, i fav and shut up before i get lost in needless explications
