Yesterday: (3/3/08) was the 1 year since my moms passing, so this drawing is a tribute to her. I still miss her and it still aches me to see her at the cemetery, I personally can't be there for more then 5 minutes, before I start crying to myself.This drawing was done in less then 24 hours, no more then a couple hours tops, which is why it's so crudey drawn and really didn't have time to go much more into detail, (its pretty obvious I can't draw backgrounds) because I wanna this up yesterday.

I like this. The emotion is portrayed perfectly- the quiet pain you feel is evident not only in your face and body language, but in the whole composition. I also love how peaceful the scene is, which gives it an air of not only grief but hope; she may be gone, but she's resting peacefully in the arms of Mother Earth, so although you're sad for yourself because you miss her, you know you don't have to be sad for her... well anyway, this is beautiful, a wonderful tribute. Well done.

That's very thoughtful of you, I'm sure, somewhere up in the heavenly skies, she looking down and smiling at you, happy to know you still think and care about her, I've done tributes to my Grandpa the past two years, nice work dude... and god rest her soul.
